This is a single AP view of a male pelvis. We can see that the osseous structures are in normal anatomic alignment. There are no fractures or dislocations. There are no effusions, and joint spaces are within normal limits. Bone density is normal for age and gender. There is a radio-opaque foreign body visualized anterior to the sacrum in the shape of a bottle. The object extends from the rectosigmoid to the level of the superior iliac crest, approximately to the superior sigmoid colon. It has a threaded top, most likely a cheap domestic. Of the domestics, we can exclude Coors and Budweiser based on bottle shape. What’s worse, it has been consumed- this is clear because there are no air/fluid levels present within the object. An accidental spill cannot be excluded. Based on the shape of the bottle, the threaded top, and the patient demographic, this object is most compatible with Miller Ultra-Light. Miller light, and Michelob are less likely differential diagnoses.
